The Best Birthday EverIt was a nice day in Aether. In fact, it always seemed to be bright when Graphite went outside, probably due to the climate. Either way, it was a perfect day to go for a nice walk into the city, especially with cake. He and a friend of his, Amy, had created the cake in hopes of giving it to...Who was it, Kyoshi, or something? Amy's boyfriend, apparently. Graphite just decided to roll with it early on. The duo was walking down to his home, Graphite a few steps behind the Jigglypuff, hoping to not get lost. He didn't live in the city, so it was probably best to stay close. "It's right around here," said the Jigglypuff, walking in front of the much taller Blaziken. She had let him carry the cake since it would be much less of a strain on his arms than on her tiny, stubby ones. "See?"They had arrived at the small house, which Graphite was a little too tall to fit through the doorway of a house built specifically for a guy who was 2'4" tall. In fact, the Blaziken's head was practical
Plans for the FutureUh-oh.Why was the ceiling different all of a sudden? As Amy's eyes fluttered open, she sat up, alarmed. Wait...this wasn't her teepee. This wasn't her usual bed. And her dad certainly wasn't here, either. Then where was...?Then she spied Ryoshi on the floor, wrapped up in a bunch of spare bedsheets, and quickly calmed down. This was Ryoshi's house, of course. Boy, was she stupid. Then again, it's not like she just casually invited herself over to the Mawile's house sometimes. At least, not yet. But the sight of her samurai boyfriend on the floor made her realize that this was completely the opposite of the last time she was here the night that annoying Absol came in. She couldn't help but feel bad for him. True, she herself didn't feel that bad when she slept on the floor, but this guy was a Steel-type. Wouldn't it hurt much more for him?True, he did say he experienced worse, but she still couldn't help but feel bad that she let him let her hog the comfortable bed last night.
Ryoshi vs. Jukidoor!Ever since sunset, Amy and Ryoshi had been on a double date with their friends Chasca and Solum, without whose announcement of their soon-to-come marriage the Jigglypuff and Mawile wouldn’t have realized until much, much later that they were actually in love with each other. So to thank the Bisharp and Golurk, and to hopefully learn a thing or two about being a couple, they had agreed that their first date would be one with the veteran couple.Things had gone quite pleasantly all throughout the evening, with Ryoshi getting to meet Solum for the first time, Chasca and Solum buying masks from Amy’s shop, them going to a sushi restaurant and meeting someone most unexpected, and seeing Solum’s match at the tournament fields in the kingdom of Aether. In the end, due to Solum’s injuries at him losing his match, Chasca helped to take him home, with the veteran couple saying goodbye to Amy and Ryoshi. Now that the Jigglypuff and the Mawile were by themselves, the double
Before the FestivalRyoshi made his way through town. With the festival about to start, people from all throughout the kingdom where busy setting up; mainly merchants who were setting up sales booths, but some others were also busy making activity booths as well. The warriors who weren't planning to run a booth, such as the Mawile himself, were keeping themselves busy by keeping an eye out for anybody trying to pull something in all the commotion. So far, things had been rather quiet; boring really. Just as Ryoshi was about to call it quits, he spied Amy coming out of her teepee with a large sack dragging behind her. Without missing a beat, he knew what he should do."Hi, Amy-chan!" he called out as he made his way over to the Jigglypuff. "What do you have there?""Oh!" She looked up, startled, but glad to see that Ryoshi was here. When was the last time he happened to be right outside without her having to track him down? Either this was just merely a coincidence, or maybe it was because...She quickly s
